The eXalt Experience
Initial consultation and feasibility
An initial meeting to discuss your vision, timeline, and budget. During this initial conversation, we’ll discuss your vision, timeline, and budget. Our goal is to determine if your project is a good fit for our expertise. We prioritize transparency, helping you understand what is possible and how we can align with your goals and property needs.
Range of Cost
A complimentary range-of-cost estimate based on what we know about your project. We provide a free range-of-cost estimate tailored to your project. This gives you a clear idea of potential investment, helping you decide on the next steps.
Professional Services Agreement (PSA)
A paid pre-construction planning phase to develop the scope in detail and build a realistic construction plan. We develop the scope in detail, confirm existing conditions, support key selections as needed, and build a construction plan that is realistic and complete. This phase may include design coordination, specification support, and in some cases limited demolition or discovery work if required. This phase is key to eliminating costly surprises and keeping your project within budget.
Construction Agreement
After planning, we provide a fixed-price construction agreement with a fully defined scope. We will review the agreement carefully with you so that everything is understood before work begins. Our goal is to minimize surprises during construction and ensure both you and our team clearly understand every detail of what will be built and how the project will be managed.
Project Kick-off Meeting
With the agreement signed, we meet with you to review the project, logistics, and communication expectations. We will go over the scope of work, general schedule, logistics, and payment structure. You will also meet your project manager and discuss how we will stay aligned through construction.
Project Management
During construction, we manage the full coordination of the work, from material ordering to quality control. This includes scheduling, subcontractor management, oversight, maintaining clean job conditions, and minimizing disruption. Your dedicated Project Manager will ensure consistent communication so you always know the project status.
Changes During Construction
Even with intentional planning, changes may arise. We utilize a formal, written change order process. Should you wish to alter the scope, we utilize a process that clearly outlines the impact on cost and schedule. Changes are always approved by you in writing before any work is performed, ensuring no surprise costs.
Completion and Final Review
We conduct a detailed walkthrough with you to ensure the finished space matches the agreement perfectly. We’ll review key elements, answer your operational questions, and ensure the space is pristine and ready for you to enjoy. Any final adjustments needed will be documented and addressed promptly.
Ongoing Support and Warranty
We offer a 1 year warranty on all our work to ensure you leave with confidence. We proactively reach out a few months before your warranty expires to check in, confirm everything is working properly, and ensure you are still completely satisfied.
